If used properly, dishwashers are normally more energy and water efficient than washing dishes by hand. Most brands are promoting the energy efficiency of their products, however independent tests have shown that in some cases this can come with a reduced cleaning efficiency. There is also a big variation between makes with respect to overall efficiency and running costs. Generally the more expensive brands (eg Bosch and Miele) can be expected to be more reliable and less prone to requiring repairs.

The fence and fencing market in Australia is changing as more people opt for security over cost effectiveness. The front fence is now being considered a feature in itself. Customers want want something that looks nice but secures the property as well.
