Eczema – what is it and how can it be treated?
Eczema is a form of dermatitis where the upper layers of the skin become inflamed. The skin becomes dry and has rashes that appear periodically. Eczema is more common in infants and young children, although it can appear at any age.
The areas most prone to eczema include the head, neck, and parts of the limbs such as ankles, knees and elbows. Though there is no complete cure for eczema, it is definitely possible to alleviate the symptoms and keep them under control with various treatment methods.
